CP Thornton Fusion - 2008

CP Thornton Fusion - 2008

This little beauty is called a CP Thornton Fusion; it’s a lovely guitar and features a rosewood fretboard with a Strat-style pickup set-up and Lollar Blackface pickups, which sound great!Ā  Add to that; 6100 fretwire, 1 11/16ā€ nut width, a 12ā€ radius fingerboard with a 25ā€ scale length, a nice weight at 8.07lbs/3.66kg, and you’ve got yourself a pretty useable instrument. This guitar is set-up very well and darn-near plays itself!Ā  In fact, I went to get a cup of coffee and left it plugged in and I swear I heard it playing so I went back to check and I’m sure the stand it was sitting on had moved!Ā  Scary!Ā  The hairs on my arm are still standing up!Ā  Anyway, I digress, once again. It’s a killer-playing guitar and has all the sounds you could want with a little bit of a take on the regular Strat thing, which is nice for a change. It’s a quality build by quality builder; Chuck Thornton; (check his website for some cool builds). His blend-pot-wiring tricks open up a heap of cool sounds which makes this guitar a delight to play.Ā  Comes with a gig bag.
