Gibson SG Standard Cherry w/Bigsby - 1972
Hereās a cracker SG Standard from 1972. A great-playing guitar with a nice, rich cherry colour still evident as a lot of these faded out to brown. This one sports a Bigsby unit, made for Gibson at the time. It feels good too. Itās had a pro refret at some stage with almost 100% fret-life left. It looks like the back of the neck had a clean-up at the same time; great job too. (No repairs or breaks are hidden under this). The pickups are the original Bill Lawrence units known as āTarbacksā (they were sealed with black epoxy, hence the nick-name) and they both sound great. Put this SG through a distortion pedal and listen to it sing!Ā Condition is very good for its age. This great guitar comes with its original Australian green case and also has the original ownerās manual with it.
